Porn and BitTorrent? – Yes, the Rumors are True!

Yep, it’s true. You read it here first. There’s pr0n on BitTorrent sites.

Pornography and the Internet go together like peanut butter and jelly; so why should BitTorrent miss the boat? They haven’t. Pr0n, being a multi-billion dollar industry, has not eluded both public and private torrent sites alike. Love it or hate it – Internet pr0n brings big traffic. Which in turn brings in mad advertising dollars. Sorry, Jon Huntsman Jr., but it appears that the mob has spoken. Grab your life jacket and get aboard – here’s a list of private adult BitTorrent sites that are accepting new registrations.

Why BitTorrent, then?

Nobody tries to find pr0n through a search engine anymore. That is so last decade. People are flocking to BitTorrent sites, especially private ones, for a variety of reasons:

— Full-length DVD rips of the latest movies, not just video clips. Everything that you can find at an Adult Video Store will probably be available as a .torrent DVD rip.

— Good categorization of all fetishes & preferences. Private sites offer pr0n, and pr0n alone.

— Web searching can lead to hijacked browsers; clogged email accounts chock-full of pr0n images and related links; viruses / malware.

— P2P programs (such as Limewire) more often than not, produce search results that contain *.WMV files (these should ALWAYS be avoided, and can contain malicious code, bad DRMs etc.).

Public Torrents & Pr0n

If you’re a BitTorrent aficionado and a pundit of pr0n, we don’t have to tell you that most public sites offer an ‘adult’ section – with the exception of mininova.org who remains adult-free (in keeping with a family-oriented theme). Even The Pirate Bay offers a pr0n section, although they don’t advertise it (nor can you even find it by browsing through the sections, unless you are logged in to TPB). Find it here:

No matter where you get your adult torrents, treat them as regular ‘movie’ torrents. You’re looking for *.avi files (in most cases), and proper DVD rips are around the 700MB mark, or 1.35+GB for 2 disk DVD rips. Unlike regular movies, there are a lot of ‘clips’ out there, as well. Be cautious when downloading *.WMV clips – use a reputable private tracker for those.

Private BitTorrent Pr0n Sites

The most popular private BitTorrent sites are, unquestionably, sites that strictly offer adult material. Users don’t have to be concerned about their homepage being hijacked, nasty viruses, or their email account clogged up with inane messages. This is big business with a lot of advertising dollars riding on the fact that you’ll come back for more. Just follow the rules and keep your account in good standing (usually the “rules” can be found in the website’s FAQ or other link). Generally this means you’ll have to keep a good sharing ratio, somewhere in the range of 0.4MB uploaded to 1.0MB downloaded. So keep those .torrents running after they finish. If you get banned, it’ll likely be your IP address that is banned, so that’ll be it. Usually if you start to fall behind on the sharing, you’ll first get warnings – they’ll leave you a ‘message’ after you Login in regards to your account.
